I ended up deciding to call a printshop here in town before trying to place an order online. We have dealt with the folks here several times with good results, and besides, I like like to keep things local when I can.
She asked me what color I wanted the shirts to be. She couldn't give me a definitive list of options on the spot but said she'll probably get back to me in the mean time. In general, what color would you-all who are placing orders prefer?
Thanks,
SD

Orange! Scott, sorry I didn't get back to you ... I am not sure about Vegas now because we are supposed to be saving money, but I'd love to buy a shirt ... Can I do it via Paypal?
Ooops, sorry, I just saw I missed the date. I'm so sorry (seriously, my life has been a train wreck)! They look awesome - you did a fab job.
hazmat orange!
and does the local printer still do the technical type shirts? i know for me, it'll end up in a drawer unless it's something functional as well.
Four votes for orange, or if we give LJ two votes (one for green and one for orange), Five votes for orange and one for green.
Jeff,
I hear that. I have one drawer full of cotton tees. I frequently have to go through and put a bunch in the goodwill bag just so I can open and shut the drawer. I certainly don't need any more. So, yes, we'll be getting technical shirts no matter what.
I asked them if I could just go to Target and buy one for them to do a test print on but she said she'd rather order some. She saw the design on the blog and has a very clear picture of what we want.
what is a technical shirt? whatever it is, yes, i want one of those too.
i'm game for orange too i think. just cause maybe i've gotten used to it. but ya, must be a good orange. scott, i can tell you have a good eye for color.
and glad to hear you've opted local. always chose local!
I think I have to agree with partyrunner. Although orange is not my favorite color, I've gotten used to it. I definately think they ought to all be the same color so we can spot each other (maybe). I almost always run in a white shirt. Do you think anyone else there will be wearing white?
