Gone To Croatan
This is my last post before we leave for Vegas. I am excited, in dread, and a little nauseus, but mostly just looking forward to the day. I am afraid of the marathon. I suppose in a way I have always been afraid of the marathon. That is why it has been important to me to find one and run it. After Sunday there will be one less thing in life to fear.

you are going to be so fine....
(next time you post you'll be wearing a medal. how cool is that?)
Good luck! We'll be virtual cheering for you!
remember what the wise man said...
"there's nothing to fear, but fear itself".
scott, just remember that the race is just a celebration of everything you've done to get to this point. it's your chance to show off and say, "Look at what I can do!"
see you in vegas!
you've done the training and made our shirts.
you rock. see you at the finish!
Fear is the mind killer.
It is the little death that will bring total destruction.
I will let my fear wash over me and through me and when it has gone, only I will remain.
Or some such...
