Gone To Croatan

This is my last post before we leave for Vegas. I am excited, in dread, and a little nauseus, but mostly just looking forward to the day. I am afraid of the marathon. I suppose in a way I have always been afraid of the marathon. That is why it has been important to me to find one and run it. After Sunday there will be one less thing in life to fear.

remember what the wise man said...

"there's nothing to fear, but fear itself".

scott, just remember that the race is just a celebration of everything you've done to get to this point. it's your chance to show off and say, "Look at what I can do!"

Fear is the mind killer.
It is the little death that will bring total destruction.
I will let my fear wash over me and through me and when it has gone, only I will remain.

Or some such...
